I tried to tell the person who took the picture to zoom in, but he was Asian, and I don't think he understood English very well.
This is also the picture of Rachelle and I at the pub that I mentioned in the last post.
Ok, now that, that is taken care of, I should mention that the day was a free day, and so nothing was really planned, and I had things that I had to take care of before I could go exploring the city. The day started off with me waking up late, and as a result I did not make it to Westminster Abby for morning services, as I had intended. After updating my blog and getting ready, I met Rachelle at King's Cross Station and we went directly to Oxford Street. I still needed a phone, and after finding one Rachelle ate lunch while I tried to figure out technology more complex and primitive than my first Motorola Razor. I don't even have volume control. There is on, vibrate, and silent.
Here is a picture of us at the restaurant with my new phone.
With PRIMARK out of the way, I was hungry, so went to get something to eat while we both rested. There was free Wifi there so Rachelle checked her phone, and a guy from her group, Tyler, was going to see the 22 Jump Street, since it's already out over here. We met up with him at the cinema, and it was a funny movie, but not nearly as good as the first movie.
After the movie, we were all tired of walking and so Rachelle showed me the hostel (hotel) where she's staying. We played Scrabble, and I met more of the people in her group. We mainly hung out with Tyler and Austin, because other people were doing other things. After a few hours Tyler and Rachelle walked me back to the tube and I caught my train.
I should also mention that Gumball was also going on and that there were so many nice cars on the streets and that a lot of celebrities showed up and interacted with the public. Just a little exciting information.
What celebrities?
ReplyDeleteVin Diesel, Chris Brown, Eve, David Hassle Hoff, and a few others. They also had BMX going on and concerts at the same time.
